All about Cedar School Technology and Education Conference

The Cedar School Technology and Education Conference (CSTEC) was organized to unite educators from across the country and to assist them in improving their pedagogical and leadership practices in the K12 setting. CSTEC was an opportunity for the educators who are eager to advance their skills with respect to pedagogy and organizational management through the guidance of industry professionals. It was a three-day long event in November 2021 during which 31 training and educational sessions took place. We received more than 400 registrations for each day. CSTEC was unique as our speakers came from different parts of the world including America, UK, and UAE. In addition, the content of the sessions was curated after keeping the needs of educators in mind. These sessions were divided into three themes to offer a holistic experience to the attendees.

Managing and Promoting Learning Within Classrooms

These sessions were ideal for individuals who were embarking on a career as teachers and professionals with prior teaching experience. The sessions ranged from various streams including student engagement, lesson planning, blended learning, and other practices that would assist teachers in managing their classrooms and students.

EdTech Tools

The sessions offered under this theme were designed for both education administrators and teachers. These sessions helped equip the attendees with information regarding different online learning platforms that are currently being used in different education systems and how they could be used in Pakistan.

School Leadership

The sessions offered under this category are for the individuals who want to bring about a change in their educational organizations and institutions. These sessions were conducted by individuals working in the leadership capacity in a variety of education systems. Presenters shared their firsthand knowledge and experiences along with strategies that aided them in developing their schools.
